I sit here, having done all of the appropriate things for Happy!Andy to have a good/productive day:
- ADHD/Cannabis Medication
- Yoga
- Therapy (in the sun!)
- Protein based food
- Dressed with shoes on
yet my mind wanders in five directions at a time. I’ve taken to keeping a little pocket notebook with me, that way I can write down random thoughts that come to mind that I want to remember for later. Now if I can only remember to grab the notebook before I get up, sit down, or walk away.
I feel like I’m closer to leaving than I thought, but I also feel like I’m a lot further away. It’s the end of March, and clearly I will not be leaving April 1st. Time for a new goal:
My Birthday = on the road
Kate’s Birthday = in Portland
I REALLY want to make this happen. It’s been too long…way too long. I think it would be perfect to be able to celebrate together on her birthday.
This means I have so very much to do in a short amount of time. Luckily, that’s my squirrel superpower.
- Get current route and stops in My Maps
- Plan minimal amount of days to be at each stop
- Add them up, go backwards from 5/16 and that’s my target date.
Once I have my target date for leaving, I can start to separate things into areas:
Leaving
- Bring my stuff together from camping checklist
- Finalizing decisions about what things to bring
- Packing said items in bins
- Setting up and listing items to sell
- Taking all donations away
Car
- Deep cleaning the suv
- Passenger Station
- Mounts for devices
Camper
- Nuts on frame bolts
- Sand galley surface
- Mid lower shelf back in
- Bottom galley divider back in
- Narrow weatherstripping for the doors
- Wood filler and sanding
- Rebuilding lower left molding corner
- Buy new piano hinges for doors
- Pull inside caulking? caulk over it?
- Paint inside
- Re-seal with what? Poly? Marine grade something?
- Purchase galley counter locks
- Purchase 2 vents to install, one on each side
Camping Area
- Building the field sink (I think I have everything I need)
- DIY emergency toilet
- Firewood splitting solution (I looked at the reviews on that splitter bit for my drill, not so hot)
- Small table? Foldable?
I’m going to try and go slow and do one thing at a time
