Checkin’ off the list

Posted on 03/23/2022 by Andrew Bejma

So I went out to the barn on Monday to try and get some things done. It wasn’t as warm (which was part of the reason I wanted to be out there the day before) and it was a bit windy, but overall I feel really good with my progress.

I was able to set up both the screened in canopy and the privacy tent and check them out for the first time. The canopy is absolutely perfect:

And the privacy tent is more than I could have hoped for. It’s got a corner shelf so I have a place to set all of my bathroom supplies and there’s a rain fly too! Since the bottom is waterproof, I really can take a shower in there if I need to. I still need to find one of those bags…

I was also able to use my new tools and cut out the spacers on the drawer for the cooler. Once I did that, I found that the cooler fit perfectly into the space. Damn I’m good.

Did a once over of the top and the mouldings that are on the edges of the camper. I’ve got some work to do there, but not as much as there could be.

To be continued…
